  1. Herman B Wells Senior Recognition Award
    Selection coordinated and award administered by the Indiana Memorial Union Board, 855-4682. Nominations solicited by faculty mailing.
  2. Elvis J. Stahr Distinguished Senior Awards
    Selection coordinated by the Indiana Memorial Union Board 855-4682; award administered by the Student Alumni Association, 855-7221. Nominations solicited by faculty mailing.
  3. Ken Gros Louis Scholarship
    $5,000 award to a student for use during their senior year on the IUB campus. Administered by Dean of Students and Vice President for Student Affairs, 855-8187. Deadline in spring.
  4. Beryl Showers Holland Fellowships and the Susan Butler and Clara Jovan Goodbody scholarships. Values of the awards vary from $1000 to $3000. Administered by Dean of Students and Vice President for Student Affairs, 855-8187.
  5. Commission on Multicultural Understanding Awards
    The purpose of the annual awards, presented by the Commission on Multicultural Understanding (COMU), 855-4463, is to honor individuals who actively support, participate in, or encourage the exploration of cultural diversity in and around the Indiana University campus. There are undergraduate and graduate student categories. Deadline in spring.
  6. Research Stipends in Practical Ethics for Undergraduates
    The stipends of up to $200 each will be awarded to as many as ten undergraduates for use in research in the area of practical ethics. Projects should address theoretical and applied dimensions of a moral issue in public life.

BTN LIVEBIG Scholarship

BTN LIVEBIG Scholarship Student Life and Learning is partnering with the Big Ten Network’s (BTN) LiveBIG campaign to promote student volunteerism at Indiana University Bloomington. Students who complete at least 10 hours of community service and complete a two-stage application process before December 9, 2011 will be eligible to apply for the BTN LiveBIG $1,000 scholarship. Open to undergraduate and graduate students at specified colleges and universities who are 18 years or older and residents of the United States Stage One: Must complete a minimum of 10 hours of community service before November 13, 2011 Stage Two: Must then submit complete application and essay between November 14, 2011 and December 9, 2011 There is a limit of 200 submissions per eligible school, so apply today!Visit the BTN website for more information.
